EGF zones

This system, developed by the RHS, is published within the horticultural reference ‘European Garden Flora’ and uses a list of ‘H’ numbers based on ranges of minimum temperatures. This system was augmented by the addition of two ‘G’ numbers to incorporate plants which require indoor growing conditions even in Southern Europe.
